This menu is a modern and social way of dining. It gives the opportunity for different mixing and matching of food selections, unique to your groups taste. Each of our dishes provides an opportunity to try new flavours and foods, inspired by seasonal Canterbury produce. Shared plate dining enables guests to really connect and participate in conversation, all the while passing around shared plates of delicious food. Eating our shared plates menu creates a real social environment, evoking conversation between family and friends.

1 Small Plate

  • Soaked dates and feta V GF
  • Fried cauliflower with cumin yoghurt  V GF
  • Brussel sprouts sauteed with parma ham, parsley and butter GF
  • Beef croquettes with house made tomato ketchup 
  • Hand cut chips, truffle aioli, and fresh parmesan  V GF
  • Ciabatta with herb butter V

2 Medium Plates

  • Whole roasted cauliflower, garlic puree, spices and dill V GF
  • Slaw, sultanas, parsley, & parmesan aioli V GF
  • Broccolini, almonds, and blue cheese cream V GF
  • Kumara, spiced curry mayo, dill, and pinenuts V
  • Roasted carrots, carrot & orange puree, and pumpkin seed praline V GF
  • Beef meatballs, rich tomato sauce, and mozzarella GF
  • Red wine ricotta, roasted eggplant & capsicum, with rocket V GF 
  • Stuffed quails, pearl barley, and feta 

2 Large Plates

  • Lamb shoulder braised in a tomato, herb & olive sauce
  • Charred chicken, marinated in yoghurt and spices. Topped with mint slurry and chopped nuts 
  • Flintstone beef ribeye, pea puree, and salsa verde 
  • Pappardelle with mushroom sauce, goats’ cheese, and fresh parsley   V
  • Low and slow Beef short rib on smoky garlic agria puree, with italian parsley 
  • Pork spareribs with lashings of sticky BBQ sauce

“Jacob came to our home and provided canapes and a three course meal for my wife’s birthday dinner. The whole experience was fantastic from my initial enquiry (which was answered extremely promptly) through to the evening itself.
